As a brand and as an environmental company eyes are always watching, that is why a powerful logo is so important.
To stand out on a simple shirt is fairly difficult, the logo and design have to be legible while also having a poppy design.
From branding for a client to designing a logo, client opinion is always a priority, with this project there were many iterations but in the end, the client couldn’t have been happier.
Type Study
The type study does many things, it makes the product stand out and allows the consumer to recognize the product.
The client wanted the wording of this design to flow in a circular motion, using a font with natural curves and smooth lines allowed for the font to be subtle but also pop.
Arista 2.0 Alternate makes the logo and design of this project stand out, allowing for the graphic to do the speaking and the word to follow after being viewed.
Color Palette
A successful color palette accomplishes many things, including simplicity of the design and illustrative features, and adding a general theme to the overall work.

Logo Ideation
Finding the right logo for a project is always difficult, that’s why making many iterations of the logo and getting the client’s feedback is so important, this client wanted specifically a “hardhat, mask, and goggles” the rest was up to me the designer.
For this group of 12 different logos, I made adjustments to the heading whether it be “Safety First Rise To The Top” or “Allied Environmental Services Safety Day 2022” While also making additions to the type there are also changes to the style of the mask on the character, some a more round shape and some more of a corn kernel shape. In addition to the mask shape change, there are changes to if the mask had highlights on the edges or not to show contrast.
Logos with Shirt Color
For a project like this where everyone will see the logo, the color has to pop, while the client settled on a final logo I gave them a few iterations of how their top 4 choices looked like in different color combinations to see what worked the best for them.
Final Logo
The final logo consists of a few things that the company wanted in particular, this logo implements the most common respirator filter used, hardhat used in the field, and safety goggles used by the workers every day in the field at Allied Environmental.
